With the help of volunteers, 2nd through 4th grade students improve their basic math skills by reinforcing the concepts being taught in the classroom through the Math Achievement Partnership (MAP) program.
This is accomplished through the use of objects, drawings, concepts and real-world situations.
Tutors use prepared activities and games to review and support what students are learning in the classroom in both addition/subtraction and multiplication/division.
